Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD will using 720p screen resolution and ICS

A leak has been evealed by GSMArena about the plan of Sony Ericsson’s new flagship smartphone presence. The handset will be likely called Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD, and said will be use a screen resolution of 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) and supports full HD video recorder and Internet Connection Sharing (ICS).

Interesting features on Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD is the option to take pictures in full resolution while making a video recording. Thus users Xperia Arc HD can take the most exciting moments in the video in full resolution without the need to interrupt the video itself.


This information is said to derive from a major mobile phone retailer in Europe but there is no further evidence can be verified. This leak also did not mention the other specifications of Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD as its chipsets, but mentioned that the handset is running very fast.

Previously been heard of information that Sony Ericsson will feature dual-core smartphone processor in early 2012. With dual-core chipset then the handset will be able have the ability like this HD Xperia Arc. In addition, if we follow the launch of Galaxy Nexus that using ICS, it is known that the 720p resolution is native resolution of the Android 4.0 ice cream sandwich. It can therefore be assumed that the Xperia Arc HD will use ICS or at least will be updated soon after launch.

If leaks are true then the Xperia Arc HD is expected to appear at the beginning of the year 2012, precisely at MWC in Barcelona in February, if  follow the grip that running for this.
