ZDNet Korea confirmed that Cheil Worldwide had leaked the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and that it would be in April. The reason why Samsung has apparently chosen this date is to coincide with the 2012 Olympics to be held in London. The release date of the Samsung Galaxy S3 in the UK will most likely be the same as the United States and other Western countries.

Though this is just a rumor, it may very well be real. Samsung is one of the major sponsors of the 2012 London Olympics and it would make sense for the S3 to be released on the big stage with international publicity.
